The yellow Cassia I planted with my very own hands has not grown much in size but I was pleasantly surprised to see it bloom . Cool weather is setting in slowly and these unexpected golden yellow blooms are a real pleasure .The flowers are Buttercup shaped with curved stamens attracting a lot of bees.
‘Senna bicapsularis’ as it is scientifically called has other common names like Butterfly Cassia and Winter Cassia.
It's beautiful! I'm sure your plants are all loving the cooler weather now:)
